You are welcome to visit the Natural History Museum Basel from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museum is closed on Mondays except Easter Monday and Whit Monday

How to get here

By public transport
Take tram No. 2 (from SBB railway station or Badischer Bahnhof) to the 'Kunstmuseum' stop, then walk through the Rittergasse and over Münsterplatz to Augustinergasse 2 (museum entrance).

Take tram no. 8 or 11 (from SBB railway station) to the 'Marktplatz' stop, then walk via Freie Strasse and Münsterplatz to Augustinergasse 2 (museum entrance).

By car
Take the motorway exit for 'Basel City' or 'Badischer Bahnhof'. Please follow the parking guidance system and use the multi-storey car parks in the city centre. The museum does not have any parking facilities.
