Be part of it and participate

Our events open up interesting topics and provide different ways to access secrets hidden in nature and its objects.

DJ Flavah Nice heats up the winter in our atmospheric museum bar. Once a month you can visit the exhibition WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR in the evening and then toast to the end of the day.

Take a nocturnal stroll and explore 200 events in 40 museums and cultural institutions in Basel, Münchenstein, Riehen and Weil am Rhein. At our museum you will experience an evening on the theme of CREEPY AND DISGUSTING. Who is brave enough for the scariest animals? We play with their dark image and see what's really going on.

Creepy adventure - animals and their superpowers
The KITZ Club's scary animal course is a test of courage for young and old.

Snow leopard - taxidermy up close
Get up close when our taxidermist Alwin Probst works live on a snow leopard.

Chamber of secrets
We show the scariest exhibits from the Natural History Museum's collection.

Arachnophobia - relaxation through knowledge
A team of experts is on hand to help everyone face their fear of spiders step by step. For the brave, there is the opportunity to observe real tarantulas.

Crawling noises
Who can feel it crawl? Audiovisual installations by Anton Bea bring creepy-crawlies to life.

Animal Prints
Take a seat in the tattoo chair and take home a creepy disgusting souvenir matching our theme.

Twilight Zone Whale Hall
A light projection by Merlin Lights and Lightmaster Systems envelops the Whale Hall in a sea of light and colour. (06 pm-02 am)
